I'm debating whether or not to paint my Gialla Lip for my 2006 G35, because my car is obsidian black and I don't think the non paint lip stands out that badly from my car since my car is black(the lips is like matte black/non painted). What are your guys personal opinion, is it ok without being painted or should I just get it painted?

Quote: If you're slammed I could see unpainted. If not.. paint it. For awhile a couple of us has non-painted ones..

off topic here but how did you (AmateuRN) wire the head lights so that the turn signal work as parking lights.

That's factory...

OP, as far as painting your lip, I have an OB coupe with a Gialla lip as well. I went to AutoZone and spent $21 on a can of Duplicolor universal black, clear coat, and adhesion promoter. Painted, sanded and buffed, it will match the car just fine. And save you about $150 or more in paint and labor.

Make SURE if you choose to do it this way though, that you get the Duplicolor, as it has flex additives in it. Anything else will flake off the first time the lip flexes.
