Car Scratched
Car Scratched
Checked my car this morning and there was a scratch on the left side of the bumper with some paint chipped. =/ someone scratched my car... how much do you guys think it's gonna cost to fix this its like 2 inches. Thanks
Probably around $100-$150 depending on body shop. I have a black front bumper for sale if you're interested instead. And since you bought your car from the same dealership as mine, you can pick it up locally. If interested, let me know...

Do you have some pics of the scratches? How deep are they? If they aren't too deep, I've seen people do a slight wet sand and then buff it out. I'm not sure if this will help, depending on how deep your scratches are. And I'm sorry to hear that you've become another victim of these a$$holes who have no respect for other people's properties.
Yeh, it'll happen..........especially when it's someone who doesn't give a rats-a$$ about their own car as well as other's property.....very disappointing.

I suggest you park away from other cars and walk a little farther. Everyone needs more excercise right?
I feel you on this one tho.. I just bought my 05 MDX and when I had my parents take me to the Amtrak station for Thanksgiving holiday, someone made a huge scratch in the front fender. I only had the car 3 days! Daym ****'s!

Damn that sucks. Sorry to hear about your misfortune, but it does happen now and then. Already happed to myself. My car is parked in my own parking space when it got scratched. I think the mailman's chain rubbed up against the drivers side front quater panel. Left kind of a semi circle single line mark. I think he was trying to hop up and over to try and clear my car. Guess he didn't make it. It's right down to the bare metal. The mark is about 1/4 inch, which isn't too bad. I gotta have that fixed before it'll rust.
