Something tells me that $2,000 is a highly understated amount. You straight cracked in half many forged suspension subframe components. Not a easy fix. But I guess for someone who uses cinder blocks and brittle stones as a substitute for fairly inexpensive and much SAFER jack stands, the price of the repair doesn't surprise me at all. Bet that car will never drive straight again, and it definitely won't handle like it should.

Edit: OP, post some pictures of the passenger side wheel wells. I'd love to see the repairs on the side of the car that took the most damage.

no way that repair cost only $2000. the scary thing is the car could be fixed by some kid mech and sold with no record of this ever happening to someone else. but nice camber puts the delorian time machine to shame lol

If you are honestly fixing that wreck for $2000, then you must have a family member or friend who gets you free infiniti parts, because that looks more like 5k at least to me...

Do us all a favor,

Step 1 Take your G to a junk yard and dispose of it ASAP not road worthy
Step 2 Go by a bike and never drive a motor vehicle again

Check it out, he's 17 and this is his third car! My guess is his parents give him anything he wants but failed to teach him common sense....sad! From the looks of the coupe he's lucky to be alive or lucky he didn't kill someone else!

2k in parts? 2k in damages. Seriously? 1 bumper, 2 fenders, and the suspension parts alone set you over 2k. Not to mention time and paint. Lets put it this way a rack and pinion which I think you broke costs 1000 dollars alone. Your suspension is probably BUSTED!!!! You may need coilovers or new shocks and springs. not a 2k issue. Thats BY FAR a totaled car. I would just either scrap it completely, or turn it into my personal project car.

I bit my tongue before, but I'll say it. Honestly, I have no sympathy for you, OP. Especially now, knowing that this is your third car.

The only sympathy I have is for that poor G, and the poor bastards who had to clean up after you left a trail of destruction down the shoulder of that road.

That car is totalled...no question.
