Another New Member!

Hey guys, I purchased a Diamond Graphite 05 6mt G35 coupe a month ago and I've been on the forums for a little longer. Haven't shared my new ride on the forums like many of the new members so I thought I'd share the experience.

After 6 months of searching for Evo's and G35's I found her. Her name's Isabel (Izzy for short ) came with 137,000 on her so she's been around lol. She is in great shape considering the miles and age. I have been monitoring the oil level and color in the first 2000 miles and everything looks great. Leather has a rip on the drivers side, but I test drove only one out of many in 6 months that didn't have it. The paint has seen better days but at her age it could be much much worse. She isn't perfect but I absolutely love her.

The dealer knew the previous owner and had 4 blizzaks sitting in his garage for it. The rears have a little wear but the fronts are brand new. Being near Chicago that will help me out this winter. I had to replace the amber corner lights immediately, I know its small but I feel changes the look big time. Spent a good 2 days detailing her in and out, clay barred and waxed the exterior, and got some leather conditioner to keep the leather from drying out.

My plans for the car are pretty simple:
1. Maintenance! Keep her on the road as long as possible.
2. Pay her off early. It's only been a month but I'm already ahead on payments.
3. Maintain and improve on the look.

I love these cars bone stock they look soooo sexy. Don't get me wrong I'd love to spend thousands on the look and under the hood but I don't feel it necessary. I drove an 03 5 speed Mitsubishi Lancer OZ rally (Lacy) for 9 years. I had the slow front wheel drive fuel efficient "responsible" vehicle.. Isabel blows her away and satisfies my craving for speed and looks. Time for me to have some fun!

Here she is a few days after purchase:

Probably a million pics of these but here's with the clear corners:

I haven't had much time to take her out and get some better pics but I hope to do so soon.

Looks Great, just bought my Diamond Graphite about a month ago too. I went from a 09 Civic Sedan... so I know right what you're talking about when you say the G35 blows it away. Wheels appear to be in great shape too, or maybe it's the 19's that just stun me still.

Hehe the 19s are nice, there is a few small spots where they were curbed but nothing outrageous.
