Rebuilt Engine, low vacuum at idle (P0340)

Hello Everyone,

We just got my engine back in my 04 G35 coupe after it let a rod bearing cap loose. We did a full rebuild with a new block. Upon crank up we noticed a check engine light and it was for P0340, (Bank 1) Passenger Camshaft Position Sensor Malfunction. The car idles but it seems rough with a little misfire, I figured it was because of the JWT C8's we put in there with no tune adjustments from the stock motor tune. My specs are as follows:

Eagle Rods
Arias 10:1 Pistions - Compression check shows 152-154 on all cylinders
JWT C8 Cams and Springs
Ported heads and ported intake manifold
Borla Headers with Fast intentions test pipe and cat back exhaust
Vortech V-3 on ~10lbs
Using Cipher/Osiris to tune.

The first thing I noticed on crank up was my afr's is inline with how it was stock. I looked at my vacuum and it was at ~12 vacuum(Steady). I thought well maybe the ring will seat in and it will go up. We have a couple of days driving on the engine and vacuum is at ~13(Steady). I went to Orielly's and got a aftermarket cam sensor right after the rebuild and put it in. The P0340 code was cleared and didn't come back. Now it is throwing P0011 Camshaft Code for Timing Over Advanced or System Performance. I started second guessing how we set my timing and from all the pictures we took, everything looks good. We have done some pulls in the car and the powerband feels good. No hesitation, no lack of power. It pulls like my stock motor did which leads me to believe the cam is installed correctly just that something is making the cam advanced or retarded. I opened Cipher and Data Logged my Bank 1 and Bank 2 Intake Cam Advancement. Bank 2 was sitting at 0-.5 at Idle and when you blipped the throttle it spiked to 10-20 and instantly dropped to 0-.5 again. Looking at Bank 1 advancement. At idle it could read anywhere from -5 to 10 and when you blipped the throttle it sits at ~40 and doesn't move like the other sensor. I'm stuck at a point right now where I'm guessing maybe the VVEL is letting the oil move the intake cam advanced or retarded or the aftermarket cam sensor is messed up causing these false readings. When I'm in gear and at a high RPM the car will pull ~25 vacuum on deceleration.

My Questions are:
What does the cam sensor control?
Will a bad cam sensor cause low vacuum?
If VVEL is not working properly will that cause a lower vacuum at idle?
If I disconnect the VVEL solenoid will that cause the cam to sit as if it is not advanced or retarded?
Will a advanced or retarded cam cause low, steady vacuum?

I'm just trying to narrow down what could be wrong here. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
