Question Radiator help

After getting my TSB fixed at the dealer, my mechanic told me that G35 OEM radiators dont hold up that well and told me when the time comes i should look for an aftermarket radiator. He said that when people do need replacements , they dont use oem and use some cheap Korean radiator, and i dont want korean. lol

so what are some good performance brands ?

Thats my thread above, and I'm picking up a Koyo radiator this week. Since you're in SoCal too, maybe we can get a deal if we buy two together! Where in SoCal are you located? I sent you a PM....

that's kinda humorous
"OEM G35 radiators don't hold up well, but I have this Korean cheap crap that I can put in there...."

Haven't installed it yet, but I will post back here when I do. Probably get around to it 9/8 or so... I bought it at some local shop, I don't think they have a website.

The OEM radiators aren't very good quality. The tanks that hold the fluid are made of plastic and are crimped onto the metal with a machine. They won't last more than 5-10 years tops before they start leaking out of the plastic.

I'd go with an all aluminum radiator.

I bought my G into Infiniti and they said my radiator was going bad and leaking. They wanted $450 for an OEM and installment. For that price i rather go aftermarket. How did yours turn out? did you do it yourself and how easy/difficult was it?
