I've read that in '03-'04 models that the seat brackets aren't down as far as possible (thus the headroom mod), has this been fixed for '05 or do you still have to do the headroom mod?

eh? never heard of this one.

 

The mod consists of getting under the seat and backing off the stops which limit the travel of the seat, so it can go further downwards than before, giving you a little more headroom. I'm 6' 3" and have plenty of headroom even with the sunroof, so I didn't have to do the mod. I may do the mod anyway sometime just because the seat feels a little like I'm sitting a smidge too high (not a headroom issue). I guess I'm still used to my 300ZX where the seat feels much lower than the G's seat does.
