Post QUESTION bout taillight tinting

QUESTION!!!!!!!! ok well i got a 2007 infiniti G35 coupe and i was kinda thinkin bout tinting the taillights... which leads me to my question.. what should i use to tint then and should i do it? i want it to be shiney and glossy lookin not like what you see people have that looks like black spray paint and looks dirty.. if you think i should do it then it leads to another question should i tint the whole light or leave the circular parts and revese lights un tinted or what plzzz let me know..Thanks..... or should i just pay to have it done i dont mind doing that thats what im kinda planning on doing.

Overlays....not so much!

The best looking taillight mods I've ever seen are when they're painted to match your car. You mask off the tail/reverse lights and paint everthing else. If you don't need your coupe for a couple days take them off and have a body shop paint them for you....results are amazing!

Search GTR tail light film. They make pre cut tail light film that makes your lights look like the GTR lights. I thought about doing it but since both the rungs aren't on at the same time, it would look kinda stupid imo. But SEARCH around on the forum, look at pics, go to local shops and get estimates on cost.

I'd go this route as well.

Painting your whole tail light like Houston Coupe did will get you a ticket in most states! Overlays look nice for a while, but won't last....do a SEARCH under painted tails see what they look like!
