How do you remove side mirror glass

I took my side mirror assembly off, now i have no idea how to remove the glass portion of it. On my previous car i just had to pull on it and it came off, I did pull pretty hard on this one (glass only) and still nothing coming out. I dont wanna break it lol

Any ideas? thanks

No idea. Could use the info though, I plan on dampening it a bit. The bass vibrates it too much. Subscribed!

It should be held on by double sided adhesive, carefully with a screw driver pry it away from the backing. That's how I replaced the mirror on my wife's Vette....Gary

If your trying to remove the glass from the sideview i might be able to help...
First you need a flat head screw driver

1) position the mirror so the bottom portion of the mirror is the farthest out so you can see under it.

2) there are two grooves under the mirror, one on the bottom left and one on the bottom right - place the flat head screw driver in the goove and turn it semi gently as not to break the glass but enough to pop the mirror out of a plastic notch on each side.

3) there are 2 hooks on the top that come loose by pulling the mirror gently down words.

The mirror should be off now.

Hope this helps
