Just got the INJEN exhaust installed

Its too freaking loud. I get a headache every time I drive the car. Im switching to Borla. If anyone lives in NY and want to pick it up for $500 let me know. Its only 1 day old. Maybe it needs to be broken in but Before I sell it, If anyone owns the injen exhaust, does it quite down after couple hundred miles.

Are you kidding? I love mine, no rasp and very deep! Some of you should just stick with the stock exhaust. Its pretty loud as it is.

I understand the Fujistubo exhaust is a good bet for an exhaust that isn't deafening.

A resonator gets rid of the rasp. Doesnt do anything for how deep it is.

nah man i wouldnt have anything else, i actually took my cats out for that powerful rasp, but keep your cats, it take a little while to break in, plus you need to et used to it a little, just like a CAI sounds loud as F*CK at first but then you get used to it...i think besides the greddy injen is the best for our cars

Damn another, too loud injen! Right when I was thinking it can't be too bad. I got to hear one in person now before I pull the trigger and get one.

Speaking of additional resonators, has anyone tried quieting it down with such a method? Cost? Effectiveness? TIA

The exhaust meet the 95 db @ 4000 rpms rite? if so...i don't think it can be too bad. My MR2 HAD a Garage Fukui exhaust with a Greddy TD06 turbo and 3" downpipe. Now THAT is what u call f'in loud. I got 2 tickets in 3 monthes and everytime I'd go to the movie theater i'd set off like 10+ alarms. It wasn't loud in a ricey way but still loud enough to give me headaches. haha, so my point is, if a exhaust meets sound regulations, I don't think it's too bad.

Personally, i live close to Silicon Valley Auto Group in Los Gatos, Ca. Some employee there has a injen on his G coupe. OMG the first time i heard it i was all HOLY $HIT THAT IS SOOOO BAD @SS!! I didn't know what kind of exhaust it was at the time but it sounded so good i like ran up to the car and looked at the exhaust...and sure enough injen strait tip. The driver was looking at me funny but then grinned and drove off...lol
