Did you sand the emblem before painting it? Did you primer it as well? Try sanding the emblem and than repainting it. Why didn't you use paint thinner to remove the paint?

Might just be easier to just buy another emblem from one of the members here or get one off eBay if yours is already damaged. But yeah, it should be easier for that white paint to stick if you sanded down the emblem. In my case, I just plasti dipped mine black and the paint stuck to the emblem with no problem, didn't sand it either, just cleaned it up.

i sanded the crap out of it with 400 grit, then cleaned it with alchohol and sprayed it with a white coat, the paint stuck just fine, then 2 days later, after it was fully cured, i taped the outline of the emblem and wanted to make the inside black, after i cleaned and sprayed it all cracked the inside, then i tried to resand it but it was a heavy layer so it chipped, then i took a dremmel tool to take all the paint off but ended up damaging it, does anyone have an emblem for sale? i need one asap as well as if anyone knows how to paint the whole emblem white, with the inside black.

I might have a gloss black emblem lying around if you're interested, never used. Where do you live?

Painting over chrome

You have to get it sand blasted for the paint to stick correctly other wise you're wasting your time and money,

G35 Coupe
either use a high grit sand paper and sand it all off and use black chrome or chrome spray paint or use plasti dip.
