04 G35 problems ! ):

2004 G35 Coupe 6spd (65k miles)

Noticing problems !

When i release my gas pedal while driving, i notice a clicking sound coming from the exhaust area, not so sure what it is?

I was parked with the AC on and my car overheated, (wasn't paying attention to the meter because i was eating )

When i accelerate i feel like ive lost power, i notice the engine doesnt sound as nice,

Ive had the car for about 2 months now, previous owner said he got oil checks every 3.5k miles,

Im going to take it in to the body shop next week, any comments/suggestions would be appreciated !

I believe you should take it to a mechanic, not a body shop. I'm not a mechanic but could the cats be clogged.

clicking sound could be axle click, search for that on here.

take it to a mechanic for loss in power, check for codes too.

overheated for how long?

does your idle fan engage when your car is on and parked for awhile?

We don't do "Oil Checks" at 3,500 miles, that's when it needs to be changed. Clicking is likely your rear end which needs to be lubed. Your ride shouldn't overheat just because you were stopped with the engine running, make sure your fans are coming on. Sounds like it's time for a visit to the Nissan dealership near you, less expensive than the Infiniti stealership....Gary
