Its your Circuit board or Headunit needs a replacement.

Time for a dealership visit, Nissan not Infiniti! That's one sure way to save 30% off parts and service....Gary

Do some searching here and you'll find literally SCADS of info on this.

As for my own experience with it - it happened to me, and I was able to bang on the surrounding dash to jossle / shock the equipment into working again - likely 20 or more times over the course of a few months (which tells me it's dying capacitors on the PCB that are the cause of everything). That said, mines stopped doing this for the better part of the past 4 months since it started.

End of the day though.... you're going to have to replace the HVAC controls to get yourself a new PCB, and in the process you might as well go DoubleDin with a nice 7" touchscreen stereo headunit. This is - in fact - almost always cheaper than buying a new OEM headunit which will just break again in the exact same way.

I'm going through that right now. Any suggestions on where to get a jdm dd kit online? I've looked and on ebay they have them for about 350.

That's pretty much you're only option right now. The Price of these DD conversion fascia's are IMO rape.... but, no one really has a lot of them left now that it's 2012, so that's the law of supply and demand. But look at it like this, even with the price of a new DD head-unit and the DD conversion kit you're still below what it costs to go full OEM replacement of your existing unit that's gone bad. Overall you can still look at it as a smart investment even at the price. You *could* also get a cheaper "Metra" kit, but I've seen a few of those in person and wouldn't recommend them. It's the buttons... the buttons are SOOOOOOOOO generic looking and feeling. It wouldn't be so bad if they (the metra buttons) were at least black - but they are this nearly bright grey color that stick out like a sore thumb.

You can get your Bose fixed for around $150 or get a new deck... If your good at soldering there's a DIY. Fixing the Bose will fix your ac since they share the same circuit board
