Nothin worse than RATTY

As some of you may remember, a while back before I ordered my G ... I had the oppurtunity of buying my fathers 98 C5 convertible vette ... black with a tan roof, 400 whp from a power chip, custon ram air intake, custom stainless steel exhaust, headers, pulleys and full coil over suspension.

THE CAR WAS WICKED.

and I was gonna get it for a great deal .. bein my pop and all.

So, my bro who is a year older than me ... sits me down and was like.... dude ... this is not the right car for you.... whatcha gonna do in the winter? the roof leaks ..blab blah blah....and essentially convinced me ... no .. I shouldn't get it ...

I ordered a fully loaded black on black 6speed with navi instead. I'm actually getting it tomorrow...
I AM VERY HAPPY to say the least as I sure you's all know and are too.

My point is here ... is that my brother bought my pops C5 by being sneaky ratty.
At least thats how I see it.

DONT get me wrong ... I am very happy with my decision now !... PERIOD.

but remember ...
OVERALL ... in life, dont be a rat ...

rats are ......

well, you know... rats.

And while the roof leaks. Seen one C5 you've seen them all. IMHO.

Haha, that old "don't get it because blah and blah (because I WANT IT FOR MYSELF) fib..

Either way you would've gone, I think you would have been happy. But believe me, you did not go wrong with the G35!

dam, i hear ya man, im guessing he is your older brother, those tend to do sneaky things heh

At least your getting a brand new car, with that funky new car smell and no leaks!

Congrats dude! Remember...no blipping of the throttle...put constant light pressure on the gas, then shift into gear (at around 1000rpm or so when you take off into 1st)
Heh Just dont stall 5 times on the way home

Re: Nothin worse than RATTY

Just to let you know,,,,I have both a vette and my new G35.
I enjoy both...the vette has a rough, go-kart feel and explosive acceleration, like a launched booster rocket. The g is smooth and progressive in accelration...seamless, much more sophistcated. I am taking my vette to Buttonwillow in September. The g is much more liveable and a far better car to live with, kinda like having to choose between cher and meg ryan....hah!
