Accordfreak, do you think there's enough room for a 3 inch diameter projector lens?

 

yeah there's room for that. but i had to grind down the stock high beam mounting bracket to fit the housing.. because when you put on the lens cover on, it would hit. my housing is about 3" - 3 1/2" in diameter.

 

do you think it would be impossible to convert the top (low) into to projector also? or is it possible?

i just bought a pair of projector recently a few weeks ago to start the same project you are working on right now to convert the fogs into projectors. When i saw your thread. You beat me to it =) Great work.

I like what you did to the interior lights. I guess i'm still saving up for that. how much did it cost to do the entire interior lights into LED? so i can get an idea and budget cost. Thanks for all your help. Greatlly appreciate all the info. Keep up the great work =)

 

thanks.. my interior lights costs less than 100 for everything since there were no labor costs..

it's definitely possible to convert the regular oem hids to projector.. people have done it already. there's not that much space up there though.. the reflector itself is only 3 inches long.. the high beam reflector is about 4 inches long but there's more space in the back to work with than the top space.
