Can your wheels get stolen if you're slammed?

You're not going to find a thief running around with a floor jack, although any thing's possible if they're running a crew. Most often they use seizor jacks, less than 2" high available at Pep Boys operated by socket/extension and wrench....no one's safe unless you have an alarm/garage....Gary

any thief can steal anything if they want it badly enough. If you have expensive wheels more then likely they'll scope your car out first and see if its something they can do really quick or simply tow.
Most thieves do not steal things just randomly driving and seeing it, especially higher priced items.
You should check with your insurance if aftermarket wheels are covered because not all insurances will or they do but you have to pay extra per month.
I usually just get the cheap chinese replica rims that go for $600-700. That way if the rims get damaged or stolen, its not a huge concern compared to if i spent $2000-3000k on the care which is about 10-30% the value of the car depending on what year you own.

To answer your question OP I did extensive research and have found the following. Mongolian scientist's ran multiple tests, in their first test they placed an attractive fish scent in the vehicle and found the car's wheels came out unharmed regardless of the mass amounts of theives creeping their labs. In the second test they tried jacking up the car but realized they would scratch it and decided it wouldnt be fair to scratch someone elses car while trying to steal their wheels. In the third test they smashed their head against the windshield (causing traumatic injuries) and realized that there was no point in conducting this research because the magnetic forcefield created by lowering a vehicle not only injured their heads but also clearly prevents any theft of wheels. So to make a long story short, as per the Mongolian scientist's research, OP it is pretty damn close to impossible to have your wheels stolen after your car has been lowered.
