OP - sorry if this is hijacking
Gary - do you have any opinions on the other HFC? My Sedan OEMS are going and I am looking for a pair to add to my Stillen Cat-Back. Seem to be (too) many choices: Berks, FI, Crawford, Stillen, Kintex, Random Technology. Also the manufactures don't provide a lot of info, and while searching I haven't found a lot - as compared to say exhaust systems which are compared and re-compared to death. No, you won't get much information from the manufactures or our vendors. From my experience I wouldn't buy BERK's because mine didn't last. I'm currently running Fast Intentions and they sound great with my exhaust. HFCs will add another 8 rwhp! FI does make resonated HFCs but that's not what I'm running. Not sure what your smog regulations are but save your OE cats in case someone changes the laws in the frozen north....lol
Also are you aware if anyone makes a resonated HFC? I understand it would be less HF than a non-resonated HFC, but might offer a RWHP increase with less of a sound increase. Your input would be great.
Again, sorry OP - hope you don't mind.

Get ART Pipes paired to a XYZ w/ HFC module instead of the resonator. You will pass emissions and keep the substantial gains of ART pipes.

Well, 3+ years later I've decided on an exhaust. Mind you, this decision was also helped by my entire exhaust being ripped off from a raised manhole cover
HR y-pipe and Magnaflow axle back is in the mail
I haven't come around to an HFC yet. I know it's the most restrictive part and would get me a few extra ponies, but I'm not willing to risk the rasp/noise that many people claim with many different HFC's.
Why does no aftermarket manufacturer make a HFC with the same ~2.5in diameter piping as stock
