The 2007 Skyline GT-R will use a brand new chassis, different from the current g35 coupe. The car's design might look like the g35 coupe but everything is new. Engine will be a VQ6 + twin turbo, or V8 NA, producing at least 450 hps - 500hps to compete with the BMW M5 and E55 AMG

 

i'm really sick of that picture, does anybody really believe they would produce that body with that fugly rear spoiler, functional or not thats just wrong.

seriously though i heard the production model with have a 'NOS' decal across the windshield.

Yup. I think it's a powertrain tester. There could be something like a VQ35DETT or VK45DE w/6MT under the hood just to test the prospective powertrain setups. That G35C body could just be a "vehicle" for said test. (I'm just speculating but, it's done pretty often by automakers AFAIK.)

 

I believe they said that the car was just a test mule for the drivetrain technology. Of course nobody see's this unless they have the opportunity to read the article. As I read about the Top Secret G, there was extensive work done to get that V8 in there. They have quite a few pics and stuff on there web site. They said that they decided against going AWD for RWD, but they are using some new technology on the RWD as well. And in some of the other pics, they have L.E.D.s in the turn signal area. Overall I think that it looks awesome. Hey, Zo6ified. What's up? How's things going?

As for that silver G in the picture with the wing, that is in fact supposed to be how the 2007 infiniti GTR is gonna look like. I was getting my headlights changed at R.S. Strauss and saw it in a magazine. I'm pretty sure the wing is just for some added downforce. Theyll probably create a wing thats more elegant/sporty/pimp... I mean after all it will be labeled as an infiniti gtr here in America, not as a skyline.
