Has anyone ever done fog lights behind the nismo grills? I am in the process of doing a quad-bixenon retrofit in my headlights and am obviously losing my foglights because of it. I am thinking of mounting 3000k fog lights like below behind the grill in my Nismo bumper then tinting them so you can't see them when there off. Anyone have any pictures of this done?!?

A little off topic... but that would be an 430hp v8, tube chassis, rwd, 20" of suspension travel.... "Rally Fighter" Originally Posted by jsmith29

Hi Austin :-d Sell me your quad-projectors and you won't need foglight mounting in your bumper

No pics., but I've mounted Hella's behind a Nismo bumper. Easy to do once you drop the bumper.

Looks good in k67's picture but I don't really like how they're just kind of floating there. Most good-looking bumper fog lights have mounts or cutouts for them to make them flow better.
I would tint the lenses so you couldn't see them during the day. I was kind of hoping for a larger fog light though rather than just a projector.....

Wouldn't tinting your fog lights sort of defeat the purpose of having them in the first place? k67's seem to look fine during the day. Mount them in the grille! :P jk.

LMAO @jsmith!
looks good @k67. but is there really a g35 gt? I see the emblem on your grill.
you can put a cover In front of the foglights and put an electrical arm that lifts the cover up and down so it can hide/show your foglights, or you can create some sort of pulley system to lift/lower the cover. haha
