G35 Headlight Question
G35 Headlight Question
Hi guys, lemme start by introducing myself because I'm new here.
Anyway, I got this 2004 6MT Coupe and it looks bangin' but the headlights are a little ugly.
I don't know if I'm ready to shell out $800 for some 06 projectors, so I'm thinking about just doing a restoration job. However, I want my headlights to shine all white (except for the turn signal which will stay orange) but there's this stubborn orange light in the side that I just don't like.

Is there anything I can do about that? I've never seen it on other G35 lights.
tl;dr How do I get rid of that orange stripe on my headlights?
Thanks!

I can't see the picture but im assuming its the clearance lamp on the edge of the headlght. If so you need to buy a 194 or 168(both will work) LED light.they go for a dollar or 2 on ebay and same goes for amazon.
You will need to jack up the car a bit to be able to open up the plastic above the wheels and work comfortably. Its possible with out jacking up the car and simply turning your wheel but my problem was that my screw driver was too long but I guess it will work with a short screw driver.I did an LED change recently because one of my clearance lamp bulbs went out so I went with these
you just simpy pull the cord holding the clearance light, pop out the old lights and pop the new ones back in and your done.took me like 10 mins each.
