HI, i have the 2005 G35 C. with the 19" stocks. I am looking to put on "winter" tires either 17 18 or 19 Can any oen suggest any?

Does anybody want to sell 17" stocks?? and how much? THanks

Bridgestone Blizzak LM22. I put them on this winter, and have been motoring through the snow with no problem. They really transform the car from being horrible in the snow to actually pretty decent in the snow.

They seem to be among the most popular 18" snow tires for G35 Coupe owners.

I went with the Dunlop winter sport M3 tires..... all four are 225/55/17, and put them on ASA KA3 17x7.5 rims......
I purchased them thru the Tire Rack..tires were mounted balanced shipped w/ lugs/socket/center rings......

I don't know if you will find many sizes to fit our cars this late in the season....but I wish you all the luck....I couldn't find a set last year after November.....

LM22's are great for a couple of inches of snow, but in icy conditions... it's so so...

LM22 are performance snows, so it gives you a mix of performance and traction in the snow.

 

Good luck getting the LM-22's now. You had to get them months ago.

 

haha, thats weird..i got the same rims on my EVO, with the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA2s... both the Pilots and the M3s give you good dry traction as well as excellent ice and snow handling... here are pics of the PA2s





got the setup from tirerack as well...the rims are decent...light and tough enough for a MA winter... the tires are insane...i recommended the same for my father's G-coupe

 

I wanted the Dunlops, but like he said, its hard to find tires once snow has already touched the ground.

I was able to find Blizzak LM-22's on tire rack (only after using the stock 17" size, not the recommended size), and I mounted them on ASA KH3's.

Try tirerack first, but manually enter the tire sizes. Good luck.

 

wow, looks like the ASA rims were popular... just a note to those who have them...be extra careful with the lug key, it snaps easily if you use an impact wrench to tighten / loosen the lugs

I went with Dunlop Graspic DS-2
From Tire Rack.
Much more aggresive tread than Blizzaks.
Blizzaks are a great ice and snow tire.
The Dunlops are more for snow.
