Hey guys hope all is well. I have a 2003 g35 coupe with 84k miles. So about a month ago my car shut off while i was going to work. My dashboard light went out and my steering wheel and brakes became hard obviously bc the car had no power. Funny thing is the radio did stay on. I took it to the dealership and they said it was the immobilizer. I believed them and went ahead and changed it. Now this past Friday it did it again. Now to be honest i get nervous driving this car. I took it to dealer and they said the cables underneath the shifter needed cleaning. 100$ i said no and have been trying to research this with no luck. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Did your 'service engine soon' light come on? If so, what code?

Sounds like symptoms of bad CAM sensor.

something similar happened to me once a while ago, it did store a pending code for crank sensor. no check engine light but was stored in memory. hasn't had any symptoms or issues since.
