I have a Diamond Graphite G Coupe. I have an idea and I'm wondering if anyone else thinks it is a good one...I want to get the badges and front grille black chromed, and then get black rims to match. Does anyone else think this would look good. I have been unable to find anyone who has black-chromed the grille. I live in LA. Does anyone know where I can get this done?

 

search it....it has been discussed before...........you can get the badges from a website but they are not to cheap

 

I had my emblems replaced with black chrome ones.

The company that did mine (somewhere in CA) does not do them anymore. They had a problem with them flaking.

There was another guy who pm'd me a while back and I think he found a place that still does it.

i have the black chromed badges and front grille emblem...my front grille emblem is chipping off though, but the good thing is that it's covered under warranty.

uh...is the grill blackened....??? i can't really tell...could be my eyes....

 

i dunno.. here's my half chrome half black.. i left the front part chrome and the rest of the grill black.. I cut out the top and lower bar...

 

^^ looks great for a grille that was wacked with an Indiana deer head

 

Yo Mooser...You are right...It is kinda hard to tell from the pictures...I can kind of see that it is darker but it is really hard to tell...I will talk to the guy you told me about and let you know what he says.
