hahaha, heck no, you're not the only one......There's over 15000 members now and I'd say the vast majority feel as you do.
Once 'bitten' or 'smitten' you turn into some kind of G-maniac.

The re-uniting, caressing, fondling and such is fun, tho, on coming home isn't it?

The disease is called Geethirfivous. It infects those who make eye contact with the vehicle, touch, smell or think about it on an hourly basis.

Yeah, sadly, most of us are a victim to this bittersweet illness, some might even call it love

Sounds like my situation but a bit in reverse. I just rented a Chevrolet Cavalier from Hertz to go pick up my new G35 at a dealership 2 hrs away. I can't believe what a POS the Cavalier is, Chevrolet has no shame. Everything about this car is so unbelievably cheap, and when you step on the gas the engine produces this horrid high pitched whine. The car has a whopping 140 hp and has one of the worst front and side impact crash ratings. Here is what Edmunds has to say about this tin can -
"Despite various revisions, there's no hiding the fact that this car was engineered more than a decade ago, leaving it hopelessly outclassed by nearly every other car on the market." And because I'm renting this car only one way, I have to pay $54/day for the privilege of driving this clown car. Well, at least when I slip behind the wheel of my '05 G35c tomorrow it is going to seem like a beast in comparison!

You think you've got it bad? I have my car sleeping in the garage with only 301 miles on her because I won't park her at school (don't trust these scumbags). I won't see her for at least 2 more weeks and its already been a week.

ah dude i drove my brand new AUdi to two High School's countless movie theaters, other parking lots. The G now at college, never once had my car dinged or keyed. People will respect the car. I've noticed people NOT parking near my car sometimes.

pjsj35, I personally know how you feel. I have not seen my coupe in about a week and it is sitting quietly in the garage at home. I will be home this weekend though so all smiles here! : )

as I have said a few times here since getting my G....

my wife wants to know why I spend more time talking to, and caressing my G than I ever did her....

I keep telling her... "if you were as young, pretty, and sexy, I would"

You should try going on a business trip out of the country. I was out of the country for basically all of October. No Infinitis while I was in Munich. There were nothing but VW and Buicks while I was in Shanghai. Then I was off to Taiwan. I missed the G so much, that while I was in Taiwan, I found myself oggling the 350Z that happened to be parked front and center at the Grand Hyatt on my last day in Taipei. I was so worked up about seeing my first G/Z in almost a month, that I actually walked around the car with a camcorder, and actually played it back in the hotel room

I guess the G35 gods must have felt bad for me, because when I stopped in Korea, I managed to see a silver R34 Skyline valet parked at the Grand Intercontinental

I think I actually started dreaming about my car part way through my trip...

Another time while I was in SF for a week, I was tempted to take my taurus rental into an Infiniti dealer, and take the G35 out for a test drive

It's better than having "updoc".
