Rear spoiler lips

I'm having some body work done on my coupe after some scumbag hit my car and didn't leave a note. Spending about $500 to have the fender fixed and repainted, before I bring my car in to have the work done I want to buy a rear spoiler lip to have them paint (if necessary) and install it.
I've come across the spoiler lips on ebay for dirt cheap averaging about $35 bucks and of course I've seen the ones from Unlimited Tuning and Octane Motorsports costing $150 and $185 respectively. Has anyone bought the cheap ebay lips or seen them in person, they seem almost too cheap. Should I just shell out the money for the name brand ones?
Any help or advice appreciated.

Sorry for posting if this topic has already been beaten to death in prior posts, I did a quick search and didn't see anything about the ebay spoiler lips. Thanks again.

A lot of sedan owners, myself included, have bought the ebay lips and are happy with them. I was amazed mine matched my paint perfectly.

the ebay ones are hit and miss. I had one on my audi. paid like $30 for it. paint match was spot on and it fit great. I was genuinely surprised. But I guess to answer your question, they look good for a $30 lip spoiler. they work, look decent, but will never fit and look as good as a quality part from a reputable maker. If I didnt already have the factory spoiler and was in the market for a lip, I would spend the extra $$ on something nice. Especially since youre getting paint work done. Unpainted parts are much cheaper than their pre-painted counter part.

I suggest you stay away from eBay if you're interested in quality. Check out a company/vendor on our MARKETPLACE body exterior called IONIC. They sell the spoiler lip, like everything else they make it will fit perfect!
