I was in rush and locked my keys in my trunk while loading my bags. I was able to get inside the car by I pushing the unlock button with a metal rod but the alarm is still armed and the trunk button won't work. Is there a latch in our cars that pops down the back seats from the inside? I know there is from the trunk. Is there one from the inside? I have 05 g35

There's a red strap hiding behind the middle seat inside the crack... Pull it.

Today while I was replacing my tail lights, my trunk quit opening. I have one tail light in and one out. where exactly is this strap, I'm not finding it. :-( 06 coupe

 

It's inside the crack that's circled... You gotta dig for it

 

I found it!!! Man I was seriously contemplating cutting a big hold in my trunk lid !!!

 

Any one have a trunk latch 06 coupe?? If my red strap quits I will have to get my sawzall out.
