Did you miss the part where I said they weigh 6000lbs? Range Rover recently did a big media tour boasting the new models will be in the neighborhood of 900lbs lighter, coming in at a svelt 5200lbs, so yes it is built like a tank.
damn looks like it is a write off, the frame is probably bent, and the ride will never be the same if you decide to fix it. At least you properly documented the crash, I am sure you will get your money back and more from the insurance.
I'd say G handled it like a boss.
Rover is twice the weight of the G and the hit went into a "soft tissue" area. Very impressive that doors remained aligned and back window opening retained it's shape.

Sorry about the car. hopefully the insurance takes care of you asap. Some companies can take forever with that kind of crap. don't settle for their first offer. They tried to lowball me on my totalled truck and I ended up squeezing them for another 1500...good luck finding your new car.
