Clutch Break in Procedure!

Clutch Break in Procedure!
Hey guys,
So I just got my new clutch installed and have researched the break in period a ton, but I'm unsure of the safest way to break it in.
I know that the purpose of the break in period is to safely create the heat required to mate the clutch disc and flywheel together, and that the heat required to mate the clutch and flywheel together is created by shifting gears.
If you are in stop and go traffic, would that constant shifting create too much heat to allow the clutch to safely break in?
Also can all of the driving be done at one time or does it need to the period of a lot of trips?
BMW's set their clutch break in times according to number of shifts. If I were to drive through residential areas shifting a lot, could I shorten my break in period?
Thanks a lot guys! I really wanna break her in tonight and dont want to break her tonight!

What I've learned is that breaking in a clutch would be like breaking your brake pads - you want to first get rid of the manufacturing coating which you would normally sand off of the brake pads, and then you want to wear it down so it is even according to the rotors, or in this case, the flywheel.
How I've learned to break in the clutch is essentially to ride the clutch just a bit. Give the motor some revs and then drop the clutch just a little slowly without riding the clutch too much. Do this a few times and you can even get the clutch to "feel" the way you want it to.
But I'm not sure if this is something I would suggest you do by yourself without seeing how it's done since you can mess up the clutch while doing this if you're not careful.
