Where to get VTC sprocket and timing assembly?
Where to get VTC sprocket and timing assembly?
Hey guys,
I've been wanting to replace my VTC sprockets for some time now. I get the infamous rattling sound, that some people know about, and others may just be experiencing as of lately. I've got a 170K on my G after almost 9 years of ownership. I figured that while I'm getting the sprockets replaced, I might as well do the entire chain assembly to include guides, etc. Will probably do the water pump and possibly the oil pump as well? Does anyone have any suggestion on a good place to get the things I need?
Thank you.

I'd hit up Phil@grubbs on here. He works for an Infiniti dealership and can quote you some decent prices. As far as aftermarket I have no idea, maybe RockAuto.com?
Thanks for the lead. I actually messaged him a couple of months ago, but he must have been busy then. I will try to reach Phil again. I've ordered floormats from him and everything went well with those. Oh, I'd was looking to stay OEM with these particular parts. I don't see the reason to go aftermarket for these items. Thanks again.
