Removing your converter covers isn't the best idea when you consider the fire hazzard! Any muffler shop can weld them for you, cost shouldn't be over $10=. Magnflow sells a replacement muffler for our coupes/sedans, cost w/b less than OE mufflers....Gary

 

my rattle was the heat shields and once removed the noise was gone. i dunno if its too smart to keep them permanently off so theres my excuse to buy ARTS pipes ha!

And regarding ART pipes... How much louder is it? Is the exhaust note different? I'm def thinking about it.
