Buying a 2005 G35 today , How to tell if valve cover leaks without removing plugs?

After doing alot of research it looks as though i should look out for these things before buying a G35
1) valve cover leak and oil consumption
2) compression bushings in suspension
3) windows , locks , stereo all running

My question is how can i check if there is a leak in the valve cover without removing spark plugs, that seems to be how most people are finding out they have a leak
also anything else i should know?

05 g35 coupe with 89000 miles ... bone stock daily driver driven by an friend i know the past 5 years that takes care of it like a baby , synthetic oil and mid grade gas

Check the valve cover on the drivers side by the oil dip stick, if its all dirty you can tell if the valve cover is leaking or not.
