A/C not working!!

So when I try turning the A/C on sometimes it turns on and sometimes it doesn't. Its been this way for about a year now. Since I usually don't turn it on it hasn't been an urgency but with summer among us here in Cali I plan on using it this summer just don't know what the problem is. Its really weird, it turns on when it wants to not every time I turn it on.

thats not very insightful. ^

Your problem could be the circuit board going bad that connects to the AC controls and Radio, it has something to do with the soldering on the circuit board which will turn on the AC and radio intermittently

search is your friend. You can try look up DIY on what you need to solder or spend $300+ replacing the circuit board

Sorry just a realist. He isn't complaining about audio issue. Most likely 9/10 diagnosis over the Internet I'd put my money on low freon. Depending on temp. Will let the a/c pressure switch complete the circuit. If freon is low circuit can't be complete. Hence the intermittent concern. If he wants to bring it to the shop we can perform a diagnosis. Don't think he wants to make the drive though. I'm not trying to be a dick, just real.
