g35 100,000+ miles
147,xxx here. 04 6mt.
Works perfect, Engine wise, just had to replace the clutch at 135k, oem rad blew so replaced with mishimoto rad, oem pulley went bad so replaced with lighter ams forged pullies and new tensioner bolts-with new belts as well, and new brake rotors since those should have been changed long ago by the previous owner. Otherwise, she runs like a champ. Burns a little oil, about a quart every 2k. When putting in a plenum spacer, noticed only a little bit of oil residue in the plenum which is very normal for our cars. She runs strong, and I put her through daily driving, and some hard spirited back roads once in awhile as well.

100k is about 1/2 of the typical life of these babies. You will see tons of them lasting well over 200k. There are VERY FEW cars on the road that anyone in their right mind would buy with over 100k miles on them but for a G35, that's really nothing.

The drive train is pretty solid. You only have things like power locks going out and the bose radio dying. I'm at 151k on my 03 MT6. Only thing i ever did was spark plugs, oil, transmission fluid and changed rear diff fluid. My car did start eating oil at around 145k. It eats about 1qt of oil every 2k. Similar to the other poster above.
lol you should be good if you been taking care of it
i just want to buy one that has been taken care of well, not to buy one to have it parked up the next month or so

I just bought my 04 Coupe 6 months ago and it had 161k. Knowing that these motors are solid as F**k I had no problem pulling the trigger on buying it. I have flushed all fluids, replace spark plugs and both valve cover gaskets. I have replace both door lock actuators, sway bar end links, sway bar bushings, tie rods, lower ball joints. I didnt have to do all that but being a mechanic myself at a dealership I had the ease of doing all this and I am always on top of general maintenance on all my rides. I say go for it and just pay attention to detail.
Mine just turned 107. I have had zero mechanical issues (had it since 80K, 3 years ago). The car runs really strong and has zero hesitation. As stated before, the only worries I have are with the electronics. My passenger seat won't back up occasionally. I have to use a pen (or another skinnier object than my finger) to push down on the switch to get it to work. The other problem I have noticed is that the window won't roll up on the first pull of the switch from time to time. I haven't noticed any patterns to when or why it does it; so far it has always rolled up the second time I pull up on the switch. Car is still getting 22 mpg city with very light highway miles too.
