I like. Those factory 19's look good especially on a lowered ride.

 

Nice looking ride, just one suggestion, get rid of those tail light covers......they really rice out your ride man. Reminds me of a ugly mercury cougar or something.

I bet the price of the rims and tires are more than the brembo's!

 

A lot of poeple flame those covers but today we had a Z and G meet and everyone liked them. I got numerous complements on them. It's really one of those things you have to see in person. If you need more pics just click on the G pics link.

The price for the wheels and tires was $2600 installed and balanced. I got a really good deal on the wheels from the dealer. I'm really happy with how well the new wheels show off the brembos

 

yeah, your ride looks sweet, but i have to agree with the tail-lights....makes it look like a kiddie--trying too hard to be cool-trying to be a ferrari-rice-racer. you normally only see those on POS cars...not on nice cars!!!!

Since everyone else is throwing in their two cents, I'd also say I'm not feeling the overlays. Very impala'ish, unfortunatly not skyline'ish.

Either way, the wheels are looking good.

 

It's just easier for people to be brutally honest when they don't have to face you. The people at the meet were probably thinking the same thing we are, but didn't have the heart to tell you that you "had an ugly baby". I really like everything with your setup except the vinyl overlays... Maybe check into the Blue Batmobile overlays as another option.

 

I agree with everyone elses comments. The taillight covers are the only thing about your car that doesnt work. Maybe come smoked vinyl covers will look better...

 

looks great. i'm not a fan of tail light overlays though. i wouldn't mind flossin' stock 19's. looks hott.

 

LOL the 19" rims are the only thing (and lack of brembos) I dont like about 05 G35. What in gods name possesed you to get them?

They aren't bad at all. Im thinking about doing the same thing. I do think it would look alot nicer on dropped G though.

 

Same thoughts here. Those 19" wheels are really growing on me.

You car looks great. I want to also get the 05 19" OEM wheels. I was wondering, when you installed the 05 wheels, did you change out the tire pressure monitoring sensors(TPS)? If not, did your TPS light on your dash come on? I have heard that you have to reprogram the ones in the 05 wheels or use the ones in your 04 stock wheels and I have also heard that the 05 will work with our 04 cars. Thanks for the input.

 

Ill probably trad in my G35 and get a 2005 not sure yet. Im happy to see people like the new 19's as I am DEFENITELLY going to take those OUT! So I am happy to see people actually like them cuz that way it will be easy to sell them.

The 18's look SO SO SO good IMO. I wished they made the exact same or very similar ones in 19's

 

Your tail covers remind me of those Ultraman eyes =)
