Automatic Lockout on 05's?

Do '05s come with this feature as previous models did? Because I have tested it in all possible ways, and my car just doesn't lock itself. Do I need to program something or does the dealer need to program something or does this feature just not exist?

I would hope it does because I tend to forget my car doors unlocked at times, especially since having a prior car that did.

No automatic lockout that I ever noticed, to be honest. I put an aftermarket starter/alarm/two-way on the G after about a week, though, and it locks it automatically if the TX device travels more than 10 yards away.

Hmm.. I remember there was a post talking about how the automatic lock-out was a function you can ask your dealer to change? Should be free... if you're still under warrenty

The only auto locking feature on the G is if you unlock it with the remote, and then don't open any doors. It's supposed to re-lock after some time (30 seconds or a minute or something).

Make sure you guys have the plastic wallet key with you. It seems that some G's mysteriously lock themselves and without the plastic emergency entry key, or spare key, you're stuck waiting for a slim-jim to jimmy open the door.
