Whats up guys, I've been looking to purchase a used 2004-05 G35 coupe for a few months now. I was about to buy an 05 6mt with 90k miles for about $8k but someone beat me to it so that was a huge disappointment. Anyways, I've been talking to this guy about his 04 6mt sports coupe, has 65k miles and is clean as a whistle, well maintained and taken care of. Has a clean car fax and the owner is very honest. My question is, how much should I pay for this car? He originally asked for $12,800 but I got him down to $11k which he says is the lowest he'll take. I'm heading over there next week to check it out in person and see if I can smuggle down the price some more but what is this car actually worth?

Features:
65k miles
Clean carfax, 2 owners, no accidents
Brembo brake package
Alloy wheels
Black leather bucket seats
6mt
Bose sound system
Power seats/mirrors
Sunroof
Navigation system
Cassete radio

Here's a picture of her, she's certainly a beauty:

Anything helps me here really, how much should I pay MAX for this car?

Thanks guys

I can't believe there's many people out there who would pay over $10k on a g with well over 100k miles. I can't even sell my 03 6mt with 72k miles for $9k. I wish I had buyers like u guys . People keep low balling me

Well the G i'm looking at has only 65k so its reasonable I guess.

Gonna wait for some opinions from the professionals

Thinking about adding wheel spacers to my rear...

19 x 10.5, +22

Just trying to fill out the rear a little more.

Not sure where to measure from. Any size suggestions? Rear fenders are rolled already btw.

Oops... 2004 Coupe

I'd say $11k is pretty reasonable for that mileage. Understand you will most likely have to change a lot of bushings and ball joints, and maybe get some new lights (06 projectors) to make it look really clean. Get him anywhere below $11k and yer getting a decent deal.

go with a bigger tire.
10.5+22 should fill it out fine. if its not youre doing something wrong.

I'm running 275x35 Hankooks in the rear... I zero'd my coils in the back so they might just be sunk in the back. It would sit a little more flush with a little bit of a spacer.

Or maybe it's time to buy more of an aggressive wheel.

10.5 +22 is about as flush as it gets. Anymore than that and you're talking about poking, not flush.

You're sure the specs are right on those wheels?

Maybe I'm just trippin. I feel like it can come out a little more. I'm sitting nearly completely flat and I'm just looking to come out just a bit.

Anything more than a 10mm spacer without a pull, will most likely equate to needing more neg camber back there
Measure how far you are from the fender and where you'd like to sit and go from there

I'm gonna see if he'll meet up in person and try to haggle him down closer to $10.5k.

If he won't take it then oh well.

Do you think the price is worth it knowing I'll have to replace parts soon after I get it? How much generally are bushings and ball joints?

New lights I'll get whenever I have the extra money.
