I just checked all of the bolts and everything has the standard hex head. The studs for the exhaust manifolds are the only things that have grooves at the ends.

It was at the crankshaft cradle, and they were inverted (or external) torx bolts

I thought you meant on the outside of the block.

Guys I think I messed up. I did camber arms and didnt re secure my swaybar in a 1G position. I think this is what I hear scrunching out back like a dry rubber sound, I also did not lube the bushings. Am I correct? I did the same thing on my 240 front sway bushings and they squeaked.

Need help

Hey guys I apologize if I'm in the wrong section of the forum didn't know where else to put it ,but anyways so couple days ago I was doing donuts around a tree that's outside my house (stupid I know ) but the ground is all dirt so thought it would be fun The next day I was driving to work and started to get this awful smell best way I can describe it as would be gear lubricant or rotten eggs.I turned on a/c because I thought it was outside but smell got worse so obviously it was my car .any ideas what it could be ? I did Google but didn't get much of an answer only answer I was able to find was that it may be catalytic converter. Thanks in advance guys

Car: G35 coupe,MT everything stock .

Blacking out headlight housing?

I saw a vid on YouTube of some guy plastidipping his 03-05 headlight housing. I just ordered some 6k hid bulbs and led clearance strip bulb and I thought since I'm already taking off the bumper that I may aswell mess with the housing to make it a more aggressive look.
Anybody think it would look good or bad?
I have an 04 Diamond coupe and I think the headlights by themselves look goofy (love the projectors but can't afford them right now) so I thought I should give it a try and see how it looks. Anybody have experience with this? How did you like it?

Search, tons and tons and tons of members have blacked out their headlight housings. There are DIY's even around for it if you searched. Also at least give it actual rattle can paint instead of that plastidrip crap.

Hey Guys. Need a little help. So my son has my old 06 g35 coupe still mine but they drive it. So he asked me the other day what's the difference and how do you tell if it's a vq35hr or vq35de. And it's been so long I could not remember the difference. It's couple of cars back and a few years. Thinking of redoing car in and out. So need to know.

Thanks

The HR only came in the '07 sedans and up. None of the coupes or pre-07 sedans had the VQ35HR. The HR also has the dual intake which is a good way to tell them apart physically. A lot of people seem to get the HR and Rev-Up mixed up for some reason and end up misinforming others unintentionally.
