Private Sale?!?!

Got a letter yesterday stating that my dealer (Infiniti of West Chester) have been selected as sites to conduct a special market test pricing and financing event. "They need to acquire several pre-owned 2004 G Coupes in order to fulfill special used vehicle requests. We would like to exchange your G Coupe for any new 2005 Infiniti car or sport ute with little or no out of pocket."

What's the deal with this???

I get that all the time from my local Honda dealer...it's the way they get you
back into their dealer to make you buy/lease another car so that it looks like
they're doing something on paper.

but, for those that might not be happy with their car, I would consider it an
opportunity.

I would love to have an 05 with the updated gauges, trim, and 19's but the lack of Brembo's makes it a bum deal.

my brother also recieved this letter. they were willing to take his 04 fx35 and let him get an 05 fx35 with no payments for 36 months. the only thing is, he would have to make a 2 hour drive (clearwater,fl to orlando,fl). he said he might do it. sounds like a good deal to me. i heart infiniti.

Sounds like a sales pitch to me but it doesn't hurt to check it out. I mean if they are truly offering you a brand new '05 for no out of pocket expenses, i say go ahead and do it.
