SES Light P2101
Hey guys, I am new to the infiniti. I have an '06 coupe 6MT. Recently my SES light came on. The car is fine nothing feels wrong, no limp-mode. When I read the code it states p2101 and its a throttle actuator motor. I checked to make sure everything was nice and tight, no loose connections ect. I tried doing a basic ECM reset but 90 miles later the light was back on. I would like to hear any other remedies before i go buy a remanufactured throttle body. Thanks for the help in advance.

Read the FSM section EC - Engine Controls page 579.
Could be the IPDM, the ECM, the wiring, the harness, or the throttle motor itself. Troubleshooting steps are in the FSM.

If you unplug the throttle motor harness you will need to recalibrate it using the steps in the FSM, section EC - Engine Controls under "basic service procedures" for throttle valve closed position recalibration.
