Exclamation Major Issue!!!

I put 1 gallon of midgrade and 2 gallons of premium in my G35 coupe today. I was a little low on oil. Drove about 35 miles. I allowed my cousin to drive it to go get some oil, and he reported back that the car shut down after he put more mid grade gas in it and oil. After a few hours, it still wouldn't start and its shooting out white smoke and making weird noises. What am i looking at? blown head gasket, locked up motor, bad gas? Its not overheating, just not starting..

Any help?

what's "little low on oil" mean?

i seriously doubt midgrade gas would shut your car down.

Unless there is something seriously wrong with the gas you were putting in it, that shouldn't be the problem. Our cars CAN be driven on regular gas, especially if you aren't driving it hard.

I honestly didn't check, I know that i was kinda low because I slammed on brakes and the oil light came on for a second, happened twice..

the car sounds like it's sputtering out when i try to start it now. won't turn over and shoots out white smoke..i'm assuming the worst with a head gasket..

i'm pretty sure my cousin pushed it to the limit though..i drove 35 miles on the mid grade gas with the oil being at the same level..he probably didn't put oil in and ran the **** out of it! NEVER GIVE YOUR KEYS TO A 16 YEAR OLD DRIVER!!!! not even to hold!

i wasn't being cheap, i always use premium, just didn't have the money today, had only $5 when i put the mid in, made it to a destination, borrowed a few more, then added QT premium (i only use Shell, Texaco, Chevron or BP). No, he has a car, he knows not to do that, he was showing off for sure! i'm just trying to see if anyone has encountered these symptoms so i know my next step..

If you're light was coming on you had LOW oil, add in less than stellar gas and for some reason giving your car to a 16 year old who is undoubtedly going to drive your car hard with no driving experience and poor judgement and you are just lucky you don't have a mangled body in your wrecked car. Your engine is probably significantly damaged, but you are lucky it wasn't worse.

Maybe you didn't read the initial post or didn't interpret it correctly, he "borrowed" the car...meaning he wasn't supposed to be driving at all! and the reason i'm not mad because no one was hurt.. i'm really only seeking some kind of mechanical advice. i'm too old to be getting obvious advice about something that's too late to avoid. i just need a mechanics' opinion on what the issue could be, not a lecture.

OP remember this is a public forum and when you post in it you have to expect any and all responses that come your way. There are several issues in your posts that will lead to a "lecture" as you call it.
1. You drove the car with the oil light intermittently flashing. If you have had a license for any length of time you should know that's an immediate sign that the car needs oil then and there, not a couple of hundred, or even thousand, miles.
2. You stated that you let your cousin borrow the car but then you said he shouldn't have been driving it implying that he took it without your permission.
3. You said you weren't mad at him because no one got hurt, if it were me and he drove it so irresponsibly that he blew the engine I wouldn't speak to him for years and he or his parents would pay for part of the repair. You have to accept partial responsibility for letting the oil get low.
4. It's not his responsibility to put oil in a car he drove for 35 miles, it's yours as the owner to make sure the maintenance and upkeep are up to date.
5. An online forum can only make an educated guess when diagnosing car issues with a minimum description of the symptoms.

That being said the combination of white smoke and unusual engine noises leads me to believe your motor's shot. It's good that it won't start, more than likely if it did the damage would get worse. Have it towed to a trusted mechanic to get a proper diagnosis and repair. Good luck, hope you learned your lesson that 16 year olds in general have a lot of growing up to do.
