What is high mileage on G35 Coupe

I'm curious as to what all your views are as to what is high mileage on a G35 Coupe. In my case I own a 2005 G35 Coupe with 119,000 KM on it. I bought it used when it had about 55,000 KM on it 3 years ago and I drive it a lot. I have had regular maintenance kept on it very well this whole time and have little issues with it and currently take it to Napa Auto Pro shop that does my maintenance on it. I only ask this because I have a coworker who owns a 2006 G35X and he has a lot of KM on it though (at 260,000) and he has had to put 5 grand of work into it in 3 months cause it's just busting left and right. But he says he gets a buddy to do his repairs so I think that might be it as his buddy might not be good at what he does.

I myself plan to keep this car for a long time as I drive it as my only car, through all seasons with Winter and Summer tires and rims and has been just fine so far. Anyone ever get their G35 to really high kilometer/mileage without much issues? I am pretty sure if I keep up what I have been doing, it'll be just fine but good to see what other G35 owners have.

Here is what my car looks like with Summer Rims/Tires on:

You'll see a lot of 150k and 200k mile cars on here... the engines are great if you take care of them well

Good to know, I know the engine is great from having one but good to hear that anyways.

My cousin had a 2003 350z and wrecked it (all body damage). The insurance called it a total loss. Prior to them taking the car from him, he decided to see what the engine could do. He redlined the engine with NO OIL for the better half of an afternoon before it seized. TL;DR the engine is bad ***.

Keep the car happy with proper maintenance and it will treat you well. Underneath its dreamy exterior it's still a Nissan at heart so reliability comes standard.

I say once you hit 150k miles it is considered high mileage, but not close to end of life. Cars with proper maintenance should last beyond 200k.

Your coupe is only around 75k miles. Should serve you well a long time.

My last car as a 2000 Maxima SE VQ3.0, 200k is quite a lot, mine lasted up to 250K but it was shifty. I wouldn't count on the original engine much past 250K. My G is at 100k so, I'd count on another 100K out of it.

Yeah it should do you good riding it all the way past 200K considering you do proper maintenance (who wouldn't care for a G?). I'm at 125K, everything is good so far, just little stuff here and there. Need to replace the driver seat switches, change the shift **** since the OEM looks worn out, and hearing pinging sound from my differentials out back in the axle so I need to get it repacked at a dealership. Other than that, nothing major, I love it. The 6 speed is a dream to drive, got the car at 120K.

I just got my time attacks yesterday as well, sorry for the shltty iphone pic.

I got an 03 and I haven't cracked 100k yet. I plan on putting at least another 100k on the car, but I don't think my motor will see 100k...cuz i'm taking it out...and putting in something else...at some point. No issues tho. I wouldn't even bat an eye at the 76k you got OP (or 119k km as the queen would say).

For me personally, 100K+ miles is high mileage. The generally accepted number is prob 150K.

I have 125K miles (201km) on my 2006 G35x and my car still runs great.

My '05 Coupe just passed 77k yesterday. Treat them nicely and change the oil regularly and you'll definitely have less problems. This goes for any car really.

Todays cars are built to last longer than cars of the 70s.My 96 ranger 4x4 had 160,750 miles on it when I sold her.She never left me stranded and ran like new still. I just bought a 05 G35X with 84,660 on the clock. It was maintained by Infiniti since new and had all the paperwork with it. Main concern is maintence if maintaned it will last! Mileage is one thing to look at maintenance is the most important to look at!
