can door lock actuators be cleaned like the window motors?

can door lock actuators be cleaned like the window motors?

jus curious... mine is starting to randomly not work but works MOST of the time

Mine have become so weak they don't work anymore..... I'd like to know this too.

No, they cannot be cleaned like a motor. The whole thing is sealed. You will need to replace unfortunately.

door lock don't have motors like you think, they are solenoids. Once they stop working you cannot fix them.
