Good Price?
Re: Good Price
If any of you can get 1K or below over the invoice, go for it. I had to go through a corporate program in order to get the car at the same price as an Infiniti employee.
Luckily, I live in an area where the 6MT would be havoc on the car to and from work. I wanted the auto-stick, and consequently they didn't offer it under the corporate program.
After general discussion with the Finance Manager at the dealership, these guys don't even dip into holdback for a sale. The only model you might be able to get a discount with is an automatic in red.
Either way, the car is slated to retain 50% of its value after 5 years of normal driving. That is unheard of for Infiniti, since the release of the new G35.

Considering unless you are real tight with someone at the dealership you aren't going to know exactly what they paid for the car - no telling what kind of deals were made, etc...
But based on Edmunds, I paid about $500 over invoice for my 05
with sirius/sport/premium

people in my area insisting that 05 Coupe 6MT's could not be had in my area for much below MSRP. We got our fully loaded vehicle for $500 over invoice - $3043 below MSRP.... and no shipping.
Anyone have stats for the 04's?
2004 Infiniti G35
Rwd 2dr Coupe (3.5L 6cyl 5A)
Premium Package
Sunroof
Perf. tire and wheel package
Trunk Mat
Ivory Pearl
05's #'s for these options:
$37580 MSRP
$34355 Invoice
$37002 What others are paying
If todays numbers were pretty consistent with the 04's, Edmunds says I paid below invoice.

Invoice price is NOT what the dealer ends up paying for the car. The dealer pays something below this price.
I might be able to save you some hard earned cash,
Long story, but you should not be paying the prices you are paying....
We bought our new 05" G coupe from the fleet manager of a group of dealerships. Because of my employer and that we are Sam's Club members he quoted us any car for $300 over invoice. He told me he had a 05' coupe AT 18 wheels and the Premium Package. The car had Clear Bra, Huber Optic tint, and VIN# etched in the glass. All for $34,200. We met him at the dealership and bought the car that day.
When we got to the Finance Manager she attempted to sell us window tint, glass etching and clear bra. Realizing these item were already on the car I said no thanks.
The finance manager then started printing the paperwork and I noticed that the price on the car was now $36,700. I told her to check the quote sheet, the price was $34,200. It took her 45 minutes and 10 trips out of the office to "check something" to even get the price correct in the computer.
We wound up driving home in our new G with tint, clear bra and VIN's on the glass without paying for it.
For one my wife and I actually felt like we beat the dealer at their own game.
Drop me a PM if you would like the name of the Dealership and Fleet Manager.
