Interest rates from Infiniti?

Got the call that my 6MT should be in tomorrow . . . what are people getting for interest rates from Infiniti? I have good credit, I'm hoping to get 3-4%. I'm also getting VPP, so I'm thinking they will probably try to screw me on the interest rate.

I'd get a couple of other competitive rates to walk in with, otherwise you're gonna hosed...Try eLoan, CapitalOne, your CU if you have one, etc.

We're in TX and were told my the dealership today, as in this morning, that Infiniti is carrying over the 2.9% rate until the end of February.

Does that include 2005 MY cars? That would be sweet!

Back in mid-Dec, in Chicago, I did VPP w/ my dealer. They offered 4.9%. I told them I could get 3.9 from my local CU, and they did a quick search and financed it through a local bank at 3.9.

I'm not claiming I got the best deal (was competitive at the time), but certainly go in with other rates in your pocket.

2.9 is hard to scream about.

As I recall, the 2.9% special only applies to the Sedan and FX35. I suggest you tell them that you only wanted the car because you were attracted to that deal. I complained at the beginning of 04 (for the 04 model) and they were able to honor it. Use their promotions to your advantage. The salesman will not care if the finance manager gets screwed.

finance rate

My dealer was offering 2.9 % on only 2004 leftovers. He tried 4.9 on me and I told him I would have to walk. He left and 10 minutes later came back with 4.1. I had already checked with others and that was better than what they were offering, so I took it. If he had only knew that I wanted the car so bad I would have gone 7.

1.9% for 3 years
2.9% for 4 years

This is standard. They gave me 2.9% before they even checked my credit.

They said "I looked credit worthy"

socketz,

According to checkbook.org that's 1.9% for 3 years and 2.9% for 60 months on '04 G-35's and it expired 1/31

the finance dept definitely tried to screw me...they looked up my credit and with a straight face offered something like 7%...i told them i have offers from household and eloan for 3.65%, capital one @ 3.95% and they wouldn't budge...they gave me some bs about first time buyer, risk, etc...so i just went with household.

Your right Salti....60 months on the 2.9.

I wasn't aware that it expired. I had assumed they'd keep it around till all the 04s were gone. When I bought mine in mid Dec., they were talking about how they wanted to end the rebate/financing incentives soon for fear that they would harm the resale value of the sedan.

Do you know if they are still offering the $3500 rebate on the sedan in your area ? I know here in Socal they had is running a few weeks ago in the paper.

On my 05 G35c I got 3.99% for 63 months through Wachovia. The dealer got that rate for me. Our local CU is 4.75%.

I'm not even sure that the 1.9/2.9 was not extended beyond 1/31/05 - I'll check when checkbook.org does its weekly update. We ordered our CPE 6MT last week, but are not financing it...
