Driver Side Window Won't Stay up. 2004 G35

My window motor in my 04 g35 is working properly as it should, but I believe some kind of sensor is misbehaving. I am able to roll both my windows up and down as they should, but when I get out of the car and shut the door, my drivers side window immediately rolls right back down. I have tried with the car on/off, key in/out, power on/off, everything. Any help?!

Search for a window reset procedure on here. I don't remember how it works but it's explained somewhere on the forum.

I'm dealing with the same problem right now except mine would sometimes go up a little, then just go further down. There's a DIY removal of the motor. I removed my door panel and I'm gonna check out the internal components of the motor to see if I just have a lot of carbon buildup on the copper. The DIY talks about there being carbon buildup on the copper so I guess we'll see if that fixes it.

Try the reset procedure first. Usually when you actually need a new motor it actually starts getting stuck up or down before it eventually dies.
