gas pedal sensitivity adjustable?

I switched from a 93 Accord to an 04 G35c (big difference, I know) and the biggest hurtle Im trying to get over is the pedal sensitivity

In older cars like the Accord it seems the gas pedal is very sensitive and the brake pedal is not sensitive
In newer cars like the G35 it seems the gas pedal is not sensitive and the brake pedal is very sensitive

I like the increased sensitivity on the brake pedal because I can stop quicker but I also liked the high sensitivity of the gas pedal on the old car

Is there any way to make the pedal more sensitive or should I just stick with trying to get used to it?

A grounding kit is supposed to increase the throttle response/sensitivity, so you could try one of those. Do a search on "Groundinggear". That's about all you can really do, unless you want to start messing with the throttle position sensor, which I wouldn't recommend.

The 6MT is very sensitive to throttle angle changes especially if compared to an Accord.

Our cars are equipped with a "Drive by Wire" system. Which means the throttle is controlled electronically and not mechanically via cable.
Perhaps the main feature of the Drive by wire system is that it gauges your foot movement on the gas paddle to determine different driving situation. As such for example, a quick stomp on the gas pedal will send the ECU a "request" for an aggressive acceleration. With electronic systems like this, sensitivity is everything.
