Well I left the G Club
Well I left the G Club
Hey guys I just left my car at the dealer today and I am never going to see it again.
The car was lemon and Infiniti bought it back. The car had so many problems it was annoying. I had everything done 5 or 6 times and it still wasnt fixed. My car was in the shop for 2 weeks out of the month for like 5 or 6 months straight. If you look at the service history it spans 20 + pages. Sad to see it go though. The S2000 will be my car from now on but I will still visit the forums.
The pics are as of today and its how I left my baby at the dealer.

Sorry to hear about your car man.
Question, how does it work when the manufacturer buys the car back? what's the determined value? do they pay you full price of what you paid at the time of purchase, or just what it's worth according to current market value?

When the manufacturer buys the car back they repay you the full amount that you paid them minus a usage offset. So it depends on how much you drove the car. On a lease like mine they paid off the car, gave me all of my payments + downpayment and they took like 3 or 4K for usage. My car had 35K on the clock.
Sorry to see you go but you'll still have plenty of fun in the s2000, awesome car. I had one in 02' that had a custom turbo and many suspension pieces from Spoon.

That's a shame about the issues with your G, bro, I guess it happens with the best of them. I'm glad you worked out a decent deal to return the ride.
I do hope you stay, we've enjoyed having you, and enjoyed your input.
Have fun in the S2k....Check back in and tell us all about it.
Be safe.

Thanks GSM. You are always so nice to people.
To sum the S2k up: Its one mean machine. It handles like a dream but not many people feel comfortable in it since its so small. I like it though and plan to mod it. We will see how it turns out. Convertibles are nice especially in so cal.

Hey rob, how old is your car? Cause I'm thinking in 2-3 years I'm gonna sell the car back to the dealer to get a FX ... I got mine for $38,000, how much do you think I can get back?
