Anyone have an estimate for how much the clutch will cost?

^^That's about right.

OP did you have the car checked out before you bought it and how many miles are on it? If it's a high mileage car it's not unlucky the clutch went, it is a wear and tear part you know.

Thumbs up It isn't all bad

This may be a blessings in disguise. I'd replace it with a clutch that can handle higher horsepower since you may be increasing horsepower down the road.

Test drove it for about an hour, OBD scanned it. Everything seemed good. 95k miles. Im planning on having the car for the next 4+ years anyway so it was bound to get replaced. And yes, it is my first stick shift, however i think the clutch was already wore out a lot when i got it..but I didn't feel it and neither did my cousin who's been driving a stick all his life. I think im gonna let the professional take care of it, I wouldnt feel comfortable buying such an expensive part and trying to replace it myself.

Just got quoted 1200 for it..

Sounds about right

Traded in my 06 G35 at 171796 miles. Still had the original clutch. If driven properly a clutch is good for 200k miles

1200 seems high, the engine swap on my old Camry was less. I have had shops around me quote no more than 700-800 on my other cars. I suggest shopping around more.
