Manutal Transmissions

I just ordered a 6 speed 2 days ago, and now am worried about the transmission sucking. Everyone is posting all these problems and gets me thinking I should have ordered a AT? What do you guys think? DOES THE MANUAL REALLY HAVE THAT MANY PROBLEMS [censored].

The way I look at it Screw it if they have problems thats what the warranty is for anyway. Why give uo the fun of driving a manual because of the chance that it might break. Hell my Tires could go flat should I not get them'??

Re: Manutal Transmissions

like i said in another post, it seems like only 5 people on here have had problems, plus a fix is on the way, i mean, about 90% of the 350Z's are manuals, so this is a big priority for nissan/infiniti
Get the 6spd, you'll enjoy it! If anything will go wrong, it will happen within the first 5,000 miles guaranteed. And we have a 70,000 mile powertrain warranty.

Like others posted, they said they've gotten a brand new transmission with no questions asked. Cant ask for better service than that!

Black Is Beautiful, Extremly Beautiful. But as with any black car it is a B*tch to maintain. Me personally I couldnt do it. I got Brilliant Silver for the sole fact that It will be somewhat easy to keep clean and not have to wirry about swirl marks as much. But If I had a second car to drive and the use of a garage I would have gotten Black!

About 3,000 miles.. which is nothing, that's why I'm offering some cash too. Where do you live? I say you drive your car and then come test drive the auto, if you like it, we can work something out

Plus hey, it's already broken in for you. Don't get me wrong, i love the auto w/ manual mode, but I think I should have gone for a change and gotten manual coming from a previous auto vehicle

Ok I'm kind of in my hypothetical world here, do you live in CA?
