What are your favorite headlights?

Hey guys I am looking to buy some new black housing headlights for my 07' coupe, wanted to know which ones you guys like.

I have seen a lot of unpopular opinions as far as putting halo's on the G's so I wanted to get a good idea of what looks nice. I had black housing halo's on my tacoma and absolutely loved them.. so hard for me not to follow that path again.

thanks!

Depends what you want to spend.

The best customizability goes to the 03-05 reflectors, best light output 06-07, and cheapest price with the trade off of lack of vision, eBay headlights.

Thank you for the reply. I do like the stock ones however mine were oxidized pretty bad when I bought my G. I cleaned them up and they look a lot better but still not perfect so I figured I'd buy some new ones, and thought I would try something different.

I have been all over ebay checking out the different lights. I saw some black housing projectors that looked pretty sick. I will keep browsing and see. I also saw a halo kit that fits onto the stock lights that looked pretty cool. Might do that and just paint the housing myself. We shall see.

If you like halos then put them on. It's your money and your car no one had to look at it and drive all the time other than you go for what makes you happy! I put the ccfl halos on my 06 g35 after painting the housing black and I love the look also the compliments I get all the time! I have them wires so they are on anytime the car is on.

OE '06 Projectors, one of...if not the best upgrade you can make to a first gen G35 coupe!

Definitely any stock light > ebay lights. I'll just add another vote for modified / quad-projector OEM >>> 06 stock >> 03-05 stock >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> ebay

Of course prices will reflect the quality, if you'll pardon the pun.

With the cost of 06+ projectors these days, compared to 03-05 lights, you can almost completely retro a quad projector 05 light for the price some guys think they will get for their 06s. I got a spare set of 05s (that need the lenses cleaned up / buffed) for $140 shipped. I recently spent about $600 on new projectors (RX-350 bi-xenons for high/low [top projector] and Ford Fusion fogs with Morimoto LED clearance strips) for my project. That is more than you need to spend though, the RX's are spendy but they're not easy to beat. You can do plug and plug projectors from something like the G37 for quite a bit less. There are literally dozens of options. But they beat paying the 700+ some guys think the 06's are worth, imo. When they were still selling for 500-550 they were justifiable, but when you can put in the time and effort (and have a fun project if you're into that sort of thing) with a potentially better result and modify your own I don't see why you wouldn't, as long as your comfortable with that type of project.
